Dust off those old photo albums and shoeboxes of old pictures stashed away in the attic! The Hills Memorial Library Trustees are anticipating the centennial anniversary of the library in 2009. If you have any old pictures, memorabilia associated with the library (especially from 1908-mid 60’s), we would very much like to borrow them to scan into the Library Archive’s digital files. Please call Library Director Toni Weller, 886-6030 or stop by the library with your memorabilia at your convenience. It will take only a few minutes to scan pictures, etc. and you can have them right back to take home. Additionally, if you have anecdotes or oral history re the HML you would like share, we would be pleased to record it for our archives. Please call Director Weller at 886-6030 to make an appointment. Librarian Jerry Rice will be happy to visit you with a tape recorder if you prefer to share remembrances without having to leave the comfort of your home.
